The Girard is one of the many new luxury apartment developments planned for Boston’s South End. Approved by the Boston Redevelopment Authority in January 2014, this new residential development will offer 160 apartments with an expansive roof deck, retail space, and parking.
The project’s proposed 2-story retail space is planned for where Harrison Avenue intersects with Monsignor Reynolds Way and Malden Street.
Girard also includes a three-level underground garage, offering 236 parking spaces (80 reserved for residents), as well as bike parking. For those who don’t own a car and aren’t keen on biking, space has been slated for Zipcars (or a similar car sharing service).
