The Financial District is located in the midst of the “downtown” area of Boston, near both Government Center and Chinatown. While the area has no distinct definition, it is bound by Atlantic Avenue, State Street, and Devonshire Street. The Financial District received its name from the numerous headquarters of mutual fund companies that are located within close proximity as well as the towers that house the Federal Reserve Bank. Post Office Square is also a local landmark with a beautifully landscaped green park in the center of downtown, where workers and residents sprawl out along the grass during the summer months reading and soaking in the towering buildings surrounding the park.
The Financial District offers residents a variety of entertainment, nightlife, and great dining options. With high-end dining and drink options steps from the luxury homes in this neighborhood, there is never a dull moment.
