The Seaport isn’t the only neighborhood getting more luxury condominiums. Not to be outdone by it’s waterfront neighbor, South Boston is likely to get a nine-unit development on a street once dominated by industrial space, according to Boston Business Journal.
The proposed project by Donald Clancy, a South Boston-based real estate developer, would be located at 377 W. First Street and feature a 361-square-foot office space and 15 garage parking spots. The development is alongside
Fenway could also see new construction in Audubon Circle. BldUp noted a Small Project Review Application was filed for a mixed-use space at 839 Beacon Street.
The proposed 5-story building would have 45 rental residential units and 4,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The development team is looking to begin construction of the proposed building at the end of 2016.
